The Kenwood DNX 7220 player is one of those CD/DVD players which not only helps in playing various kinds of media, but its GPS feature helps you find your location and the directions to particular locations that you specify, while traveling in the car. The player is powered with a sleek 6.95-inch touchscreen, which has a Garmin's state-of-art-navigation-system which is of most use for the Europeans, in finding the locations and directions of the car.
It comes with a Sirf III antenna, which can be connected anywhere without having any risk of losing a connection. Just like any other Kenwood car player, this model also has a good AM/FM radio transmitter. There is a control through TV tuner, and an output for GPS antenna is also there. The media player supports all kinds of formats like CD/DVD/MPEG/DivX and MP3 files.
Touchscreen Double Din
The DNX 7220 produces a good quality and high intensity of sound through the 4 x 50 W speakers. And the USB ports in the player are capable of playing an iPod connected externally. And the lists of songs in the connected iPod are searchable. The other main features of the DNX 7220 include in-built and backup memory, Touch Sensor Tone, IR Remote Sensor, Navigation unit built-in, Touch-screen controllable, Auto Zoom Function and the player provides both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional display of the maps and lane-to0lane directions of any particular location.
There is a voice guidance feature which is multilingual and more easier to use, apart from the Text-to-Speech (TTS) Voice Guidance. There is a detailed coverage of most of the European countries, so this is a perfect double din player and navigator for the cab drivers in Europe.
